Two friends were lost in the highest and iciest of mountains. One of them was the Patron Saint of good intentions. The Saint had a broken ankle and the friend was weakened by hunger. The Saint tore out her eyeballs and gave them to her friend to eat and regain strength. When the friend took a bite, it was so filling that it caused severe indigestion and fainting. The Saint tried dragging her friend across the cold ground but was unsuccessful.
